Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AspirantGoal. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. About AspirantGoal

AspirantGoal (Android package com.cerescanopus.aspirantgoal) is an all-in-one study app for exams and goals, operated by Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd. It helps users organise exams, subjects, syllabus topics, schedules, sessions, notes, backups and focus routines.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By installing, accessing or using AspirantGoal, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are under the age at which you may independently enter into these terms or consent to online data processing in your location, a parent or lawful guardian must authorise your use of optional account and cloud features.

3. Local-first service and your responsibility

Your notes and full study history stay on your device unless you choose encrypted backup. Signing in does not replace that local data. Your profile syncs across registered devices. When signed in and online, limited coin-earning records (session ID, type, duration and timing) sync automatically to verify AG Coins; those records do not include your note content. You are responsible for keeping access to your device secure and for creating backups before uninstalling the app, clearing app storage, replacing a device or making a major change.

Backup and restore features can affect existing data. Review the selected account, backup date, scope and restore mode before confirming. Keep backup files and recovery information secure. We cannot recover a backup encryption secret that only you control.

4. Accounts and registered devices

Core local features may be used without an account. If account services are available, you must provide accurate information, use an account you are authorised to control and protect your sign-in credentials. Registered-device limits refer to account registrations and are not a guarantee against device cloning or compromise.

You may sign out, remove a registered device or request account deletion. Signing out or deleting an account does not silently erase local study data or files in your Google Drive. See Delete your AspirantGoal account for the separate steps.

5. Focus and Strict Mode

Focus and Strict Mode may use Android special access to identify foreground apps, apply your allowlist or notification rules, show a blocker or floating timer, and reduce interruptions during an active session. You decide whether to grant this access and may revoke it in Android Settings.

Do not rely on AspirantGoal to block emergency, safety-critical, accessibility, medical, financial or communication functions. Keep a safe way to exit or contact help. Device manufacturers and Android may limit, delay or stop background behaviour.

6. Exam information and official sources

AspirantGoal is an independent study app operated by Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd. It does not represent, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, any government, political entity, examination authority or educational institution.

Use the official sources below to verify syllabus, exam structure, eligibility, dates and notices. A link to an authority is a reference, not an affiliation. Some references describe a particular exam year; check the authority’s latest notice for the year you intend to take.

Our syllabus packages are editable preparation templates organised from published exam information. Topic breakdowns, study stages, suggested hours, personal targets, reminders and progress measurements are AspirantGoal planning features or user-entered data, not official exam requirements or assessments of exam readiness. A catalogue entry does not mean a complete syllabus package is included. Demonstration screenshots use sample study records and target dates. We do not guarantee marks, selection, admission or other academic results.

UGC-NET subject syllabi are also published by the UGC NET Bureau. If an authority moves a document, use its website link to find the current notice. For a source or template correction, contact help@aspirantgoal.com with the exam, year and official reference.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
  • upload, share or store content you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to bypass security, impersonate another person, abuse account recovery or access another user’s account;
  • interfere with the service, introduce malware, automate abusive requests or probe systems without written permission;
  • use the service to harass, deceive or harm another person; or
  • resell, copy or commercially exploit AspirantGoal except as permitted by law or written agreement.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of notes, descriptions, attachments and other content you create. You give us only the limited permission needed to process content when you deliberately use a cloud, backup, sharing or support feature. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

9. Our software and intellectual property

AspirantGoal, its design, branding, software, original content and related intellectual property belong to Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose on supported devices.

10. Free access, coupons and paid plans

AspirantGoal includes free features and optional Pro access. Existing verified access can be restored and managed.

Free access codes: Eligible codes can grant Pro access directly without a payment, payment-card entry, checkout, trial charge or automatic renewal. A Monthly code grants a 30-day access period, a Yearly code grants a 365-day access period, and a custom-duration code grants the exact number of days specified for that code. The app confirms the granted period and expiry. The deadline for redeeming a code is separate from the expiry of access already granted. Codes can also have account, redemption-count and eligibility limits disclosed with the offer.

Lifetime access: A valid Lifetime code grants permanent access to the eligible essential app features included in the Lifetime plan, with no scheduled expiry or recurring charge. Previously purchased Lifetime Pro retains the same permanent entitlement. Lifetime does not mean a fixed number of days. It applies to the entitled AspirantGoal account and supported versions of those features. It does not include paid cloud storage, cloud backup, hosted synchronization or other separately offered cloud services.

Existing Google Play subscriptions: Monthly and Annual paid subscriptions follow their Google Play billing period and can renew until cancelled. The 30-day and 365-day free-code rules do not change an existing paid subscription’s billing schedule. Use the eligible cancellation option in the Pro page or Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions with the purchasing Google account. Cancellation stops future renewal; it is separate from a refund and ordinarily preserves valid access until the verified expiry date.

Refunds and consumer rights: For a Google Play purchase, review Google Play’s refund policies. For a Razorpay purchase, contact help@aspirantgoal.com with your order or payment reference and the reason for your request. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or full card details. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, circumstances and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory cancellation, refund, repair or other consumer rights.

Account deletion and restoration: Uninstalling the app, signing out or deleting your AspirantGoal account does not cancel an existing Google Play subscription. Cancel renewal separately if you want future charges to stop. Restore purchases using the purchasing Google account and the AspirantGoal account linked to the purchase. For Razorpay, stop renewal using Pro → Manage Razorpay membership before deleting your account and verify the result. Account-deletion cleanup also attempts to stop an associated Razorpay mandate; temporary provider errors may need retries. Signing out or uninstalling does not cancel a Razorpay mandate. Deleting the AspirantGoal account removes its account access and coupon ownership; recreating an account with the same email does not automatically restore deleted entitlements.

Prices and first payment

New Pro subscriptions do not include a free trial on Google Play or Razorpay. The first payment is collected when you subscribe. Review the amount due now, renewal price and payment provider before confirming.

  • Monthly (India): ₹69 for the first paid month, then ₹99 per month from the second payment.
  • Annual (India): ₹249 for the first paid year, then ₹599 per year.
  • Lifetime (India): ₹799 during the launch offer, then ₹1,499 as a one-time payment. No automatic renewal.

These India prices include 18% GST. Launch discounts depend on eligibility and availability shown at checkout. Monthly and annual launch enrolment is scheduled to close on 30 October 2027 at 11:59 pm IST; existing subscriptions keep their agreed introductory payments. Lifetime launch availability is shown at checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling future renewals does not automatically refund payments already made. Any access or trial already granted under earlier terms remains valid until its agreed expiry. Free app features, earned coin benefits and eligible access codes are separate from paid subscription trials.

Razorpay subscriptions: In app versions where this payment service is available, open Pro → Manage Razorpay membership to check your purchase or stop future renewals. Razorpay recurring authorisations can cover up to 10 years; this is a maximum mandate duration, not a minimum commitment. You can stop future renewals at any time. When the authorised term ends, renewals stop unless you authorise a new subscription. Manage an existing subscription with the provider used for its purchase; changing payment providers does not automatically transfer or cancel it. 10A. AG Coins and Store benefits

What AG Coins are: AG Coins are earned reward points for eligible recorded activity in AspirantGoal. They are not money, a deposit, an investment or cryptocurrency. They cannot be bought for money in the current app, transferred between accounts, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for cash or real-world prizes. They can only be redeemed for the in-app benefits offered in the Store. Redeeming earned coins is separate from paid subscriptions and does not start a cash payment or subscription.

Earning coins and syncing offline activity

  • Study Timer and Stopwatch: 1 coin for each 3 minutes of eligible recorded time. Leftover Study time carries forward towards the next coin.
  • Quick Timer and Stopwatch: 1 coin for each 4 minutes of eligible recorded time. Leftover Quick time is discarded when the session ends.
  • Pauses and breaks do not earn coins. A countdown cannot earn beyond its target. Earlier sessions are not credited retroactively, and restoring or importing a study backup does not create coins or restore coins already spent.
  • You can record Study and Quick sessions offline. New earning records are saved on the phone and sync in batches when you are signed in and internet is available. The Coins page shows earnings waiting to sync; these are not yet spendable. Keep the app’s local data until syncing finishes.
  • Up to 12 hours of eligible activity per account per UTC day can earn account coins, across registered devices. A UTC day runs from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC. Reconnect and sync within 90 days of the session. Older, overlapping or otherwise unverifiable records may need review instead of automatic credit. Your local study history is kept even when a reward needs review.

Your account balance: The server checks earning records and calculates the confirmed balance; a locally displayed total is not proof of spendable coins. Pending earnings, records under review and legacy local coins are separate from confirmed coins. Confirmed coins belong to the signed-in AspirantGoal account. Confirmed, unspent coins do not currently have a scheduled expiry. Clearing activity history does not reset the wallet, and restoring an older backup does not reverse spending.

Spending coins and using benefits offline

  • Internet and sign-in are required to confirm a redemption. Review the coin price, included features, limits and access period shown for the item. Only a sufficient confirmed balance can be spent. If confirmation is interrupted, use Check purchase to check the same transaction.
  • A benefit starts when the server confirms the redemption. Coin Passes currently last 1, 3 or 7 days; another Coin Pass adds its duration to a still-active pass. Attachment and recording extras currently last 24 hours, Focus Home and Timer Lock offers last 3 days, and AG Vault and Journey offers last 7 days. One day means 24 hours. Benefits do not automatically renew or spend more coins.
  • A Coin Pass unlocks only the features and limits listed in its offer; it is not Lifetime Pro. Per-canvas, daily, file-size, page-count, recording-duration and total-extra limits still apply. Unused extras expire with their access period. Deleting an attachment does not refund its consumed extra allowance.
  • After confirmation and download of the access record, eligible benefits can work offline on that device until their verified expiry, within the allowance saved there. Reconnect to replenish extra allowances, verify access on another device, or after a phone restart or clock change. Signing out, reinstalling or clearing app data can require fresh online verification.
  • Timed access ends automatically, including offline. Being offline or not using the benefit does not pause its access period. When it ends, the applicable free or other valid-plan limits resume. Expiry does not itself delete your saved notes or media; they remain accessible subject to the app’s normal storage and content controls.

Errors, fair use and account deletion

Do not fabricate session records, alter balances or clocks to obtain rewards or extend access, replay claims, or duplicate earning time across devices. Security checks and request limits may delay syncing or redemption. Records that need review are not spendable while that review is unresolved. If a balance, deduction or benefit appears wrong, use Help & Support or contact help@aspirantgoal.com with the account and relevant session or purchase details. We will investigate reported errors and correct verified mistakes. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes. Coins have no cash redemption value; nothing here removes statutory consumer rights.

Deleting your AspirantGoal account removes its coin wallet and associated Store access under our account-deletion process. Creating a new account with the same email does not restore that deleted wallet or its benefits. See the Privacy Policy for the limited earning, transaction and security records processed for this service. Changes to future earning rates or Store offers will be disclosed in the app or these terms; an already confirmed redemption retains its recorded duration and limits unless a correction, security restriction or legal requirement applies.

11. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features to improve the service, protect users, comply with law or support new Android versions. Some features depend on Android, Google, device manufacturers, internet access or third-party services and may not be available on every device or in every region.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict account or cloud-service access when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security harm, unlawful conduct or material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Local study data remains governed by the storage and deletion behaviour described in the app and Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, AspirantGoal is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free content, compatibility with every device, permanent availability of a third-party service, or a particular academic outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, loss of access, missed reminders, exam-information changes, device restrictions, third-party services or failure to keep a usable backup. Our total liability for a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact help@aspirantgoal.com so we can try to resolve the issue. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, law or business changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
