Where the facts come from
Four kinds of source stand behind a page, in this order.
- The exam body's own documents. UPSC, NTA, SSC, the Railway Recruitment Boards, the organising institutes for GATE and IIT JAM, and the other exam bodies print the structure, the papers and the syllabus. Each exam page lists the documents it used, with the page or paragraph for each fact. A coaching site or a news site is never the final source.
- The app itself. What AspirantGoal does comes from the app, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, with the app version and the date where they matter.
- Published research. A study method is cited to the original paper, with what the study tested and what it did not. A number from a summary that we have not read in the original is not quoted.
- Our own examples. A worked example uses made-up numbers, is marked "Example" and shows its arithmetic, so you can redo it with yours.
How a page is dated
Every guide and exam page shows a "Last reviewed" date. It changes only when someone has read the sources again against the page. Exam pages are read again when the exam body publishes a new notice, and at least once a quarter. Guides are read again at least every six months.
What is left out
- Predicted scores, ranks and selection chances, and any claim about how many hours an exam needs.
- "Best app" rankings, and comparisons that name other apps.
- Copies of an official syllabus or question paper. A page lists the unit names and links to the document.
- Testimonials that we collected. The only reviews shown are those on Google Play, word for word, with the name Play shows.
- Advertising, paid placement and affiliate links.
How the pages are made
The pages are drafted with the help of AI tools, from the sources named on each page. The AspirantGoal team approves every page before it goes live, and a fact stays on a page only when the source named for it says so.
Independence
AspirantGoal is an independent app from Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd. No government body, exam authority or institution endorses or sponsors it. The exam body is the authority for every rule, date and syllabus, and each exam page links to its documents.
Report a mistake
If a page is wrong or out of date, email help@aspirantgoal.com with the page address and, if you have it, the source. We correct the page and change its "Last reviewed" date. When a correction could change what someone did, the page says what changed, and the correction is listed on the site updates page. A page whose advice turns out to be wrong is corrected or taken down.
Who is behind it
AspirantGoal is made by Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd, registered at Shop No 2, Upper Floor, Govardhan, Sn 48 Nvel Road, Mumbra, Thane – 400612, India. The About page names the founder and the contact for complaints, and the facts page holds the checkable facts about the app in one place.
