What you stop juggling

If your plan lives in a spreadsheet, your timer is a separate app and your notes are in five places, AspirantGoal puts them in one.

You plan the week, start a timer on the task, and the session saves with a page for your note. A PDF you annotate stays with the topic it belongs to. Alarms are part of the plan, so the reminder is already attached to the task. Strict Mode, a Pro feature, lets you choose which apps stay available while a session runs.

What each part does

Notes that explain themselves.

A session's note holds the page, the marks you made on it and your voice saying why. Send it to a friend and it opens in AspirantGoal with every highlight and audio pin in place.

AG NoteCanvas takes text, photos, PDFs and voice. Highlight a line on a photo or a PDF page with the pen, then record a pin on that spot: ten seconds on why it matters, in your own words, for the day you come back and cannot remember.

One note can go to many people as an .agsz file, with its photos, PDFs and audio inside. The friend who asked for your notes gets the explanation with them, so nobody has to ring you back for the details.

Two exams, one plan.

Each exam is its own goal, with its own phases, subjects and stage names. Month, Week and Today put them on one plan and show one buffer for all of it.

An exam from the list and a goal you make yourself work the same way, so the second exam can be anything you are preparing for. When the hours do not fit, the plan says so before the week starts.

The app marks this month as tight. Illustrative example, with figures rounded. You set your own hours.

Hours show effort. Coverage shows what you finished.

Say you plan a 30-minute task and study for 10. You've used a third of its time. You've covered none of the syllabus until you mark that stage complete, and AspirantGoal shows you both numbers.

Study time comes from the timer, and pauses and breaks don't count. Coverage counts a topic once per stage, so doing a stage a second time adds to your revision history without raising it.

Questions people ask

What is AspirantGoal?

AspirantGoal is an all-in-one study app for exams and goals, available on Google Play and made by Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd. It keeps your syllabus, schedule, study sessions and notes in one place, for competitive exams, college exams or any goal of your own, with or without a deadline. It has no classes, courses or mentoring, so you study from your own material.

Is it free?

Planning, timers, the stopwatch and streaks are free, with limits on how much media you can attach. Pro adds Strict Mode, AG Vault and the Journey view, and raises the media limits. Pro is sold monthly, annually or for life, and eligible free access codes grant it too. The pricing page has the India prices.

Can I prepare for more than one exam?

Yes. Each exam is its own goal with its own phases, subjects and stage names, and a goal can be an exam from the list or one you make yourself. Month, Week and Today put them on one plan, tag each subject with its exam and show one buffer for all of it.

Which exams can I use it for?

Any exam or goal, with or without a deadline: competitive exams, college and university exams, or a goal you define yourself. A goal of your own works the same way as an exam from the list. Ready syllabus templates ship for UPSC Civil Services, UPSC Engineering Services, SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, GATE, UGC NET, NEET UG, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and RRB NTPC. Templates are built from published exam information, and you can edit them. Having an exam in the list doesn't mean its syllabus package is complete, so check it against the exam body's own syllabus.

Does it work without internet?

You can study and record sessions offline, because your records and notes are on your phone. You need a connection to sign in, to sync your profile, or to confirm a coin redemption.

Where is my data?

On your phone. If you want a backup, it can go to your own Google Drive, encrypted. Keep the recovery key somewhere other than the phone you might lose.

Will it tell me my chances of passing?

No. The charts show what you recorded. They don't predict an exam score, and the app doesn't promise marks, selection or any other result.

What's a round, and how is it different from a stage?

A stage is a kind of work on a topic, such as self study, practice questions, past papers or revision. The stage names follow the exam and the subject. A round is one more pass through the same stage, so Self Study R2 is your second time through self study. Doing a round again doesn't count as a new exam attempt.

What does Strict Mode need on my phone?

Three Android permissions: usage access, so it can see which app is open, display over other apps, for the floating timer, and notification access. You grant them yourself, and Android has the last word on each one.

Is AspirantGoal connected to any exam body?

No. It's an independent app from Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd. No government, exam authority or institution endorses it.

Every review the app has so far, as written, with the reviewer's name as Google Play shows it.

A very useful app for students preparing for competitive exams I really like how it brings syllabus planning, daily study schedules, focus timers, notes, put your own audio notes on the image of pdf of notes, progress tracking together in one place. It makes studying more organised and helps you stay focused on your goals. The best part is that you can break a large syllabus into smaller tasks and track your study sessions to see how much you have actually completed. Definitely worth trying!

Absolutely awesome! how can someone make app like this💐. This is the kind of app I was looking for which has everything from detailed tracking of the syllabus to app blocking and also we can add a background image or animation during our timer or stopwatch 🔥. This is the best app ever for competitive exams who give multiple exams during preparation of one exam. There is so much to say but all I can say is thank you so much for such a level of detailing and making it free almost everything.
