One row for each topic and stage. Minutes studied and the date you finished the first pass sit in separate columns, so a long study session cannot pass for a finished topic.

Using the sheet

  • Add minutes to Minutes studied after each session. Leave out pauses and breaks.
  • Write a date in First pass finished on only when you decide that stage of that topic is done. Until then, leave it blank, however many minutes you have logged.
  • When you go through the same stage again, add a new row with Round set to 2. Do not change the first row. The second round adds minutes and notes. The first pass stays as it was.
  • Stage names follow your exam and subject. Use whatever names your plan uses, such as Foundation, Core Study, PYQ Analysis, MCQ Practice, Revision and Topic Test.

Coverage is the number of stages with a date in the finished column, divided by the number of stages that apply. Seecoverage in the glossary, and the guideStudy hours are not syllabus coverage.

Let the app fill it in.

AspirantGoal records the minutes for you and keeps each pass separate. Install it and try one topic.
