1. Who we are

AspirantGoal (Android package com.cerescanopus.aspirantgoal) is a platform operated by Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd (“AspirantGoal”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to the AspirantGoal Android app, aspirantgoal.com, account services, support communications and related services.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores the information you enter or create, including exam goals and phases, streams, subjects, syllabus topics and stages, schedules, targets, sessions, timer and stopwatch records, study history, notes and descriptions, attachments, audio notes, Focus and Strict Mode settings, allowed-app choices, notification choices, preferences, profile details and locally calculated progress.

This study data stays on your device unless you explicitly export it, share it, create a backup, restore it on another device, or use a feature that clearly says it will send specific information. Signing in does not replace your local data or upload your notes and full study history. Account profile data and the limited coin-earning records described below sync automatically when signed in and online. Android system backup is disabled for AspirantGoal.

3. Account, profile and technical information

You can use core local study features without an AspirantGoal cloud account. If you choose Google sign-in, we process your authenticated account identifier, email address and available Google profile name to provide account services.

Your AspirantGoal profile can sync across your registered devices. This includes your name, prefix, username, power message, preparation stage, profile links and profile photo when you provide them. Profile photos are stored separately from the profile text. Profile sync does not upload your full local study database, notes, exam content, study history or audio recordings.

We use registered-device identifiers, registration times, device access state and hashed device identifiers to manage your account and limit abusive login and coupon attempts. Account lifecycle, request and rate-limit records help us safely complete access changes and deletion.

Account services may process purchase and payment references, verification tokens, payment amounts and tax breakdowns, your billing country and state or territory, subscription and renewal status, the payment provider and general payment-method category (such as UPI or card), cancellation and refund records, expiry information, coupon and reward-pass records, and access entitlements. These records support payment verification, fraud prevention, restoration, billing records and subscription management. New Razorpay tax invoices and credit notes use a snapshot of your verified Google account email as the billed-to identity. Your membership page shows the verified expiry and payment method; it does not display your full payment instrument details. When Razorpay is available and you choose it, Razorpay processes the payment and any contact or payment details you enter in its checkout. Our app backend uses account-linked references to verify the result. We do not store your full card number, card security code or UPI PIN. For eligible payments outside Google Play billing, we report the transaction, applicable tax, tax location and subscription or refund references to Google as required by its alternative-billing programme; this reporting does not include your notes or study content.

When account-connected AG Coin services are used, limited earning records can include a session identifier, timer or stopwatch type, recorded duration and timing information, coin amounts and verification results. These records support rewards and prevent duplicate or abusive claims. They do not contain your note text, subject or topic names, exam content, audio recordings or complete study history.

Technical information: Google/Firebase services may process IP addresses, app and SDK versions, device and operating-system metadata, authentication identifiers and integrity tokens to operate and secure the service. Firebase Cloud Messaging also creates an installation identifier and messaging registration information; its automatic registration can occur when the app starts, before account sign-in. Account-linked messaging signals notify another registered device that a profile changed; the signal does not contain profile text or photos.

These identifiers are used for service operation and security, not advertising. Hashed or pseudonymous identifiers are still treated as personal data where they can relate to a device or account. Google/Firebase processes service information under its applicable terms and retention practices. Account services do not store complete backup files, backup encryption keys or Google access tokens in the AspirantGoal account database.

App usage analytics

In Android version 1.0.2, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how AspirantGoal is used and improve its features. Usage analytics is enabled by default and collection can begin before account sign-in. You can turn it off in Settings under Help improve AspirantGoal.

Google processes an app-instance identifier, app opens, sessions and engagement events, event timing, app and operating-system versions, device information and approximate location derived from the network address. Applicable automatically collected events can also include Google Play purchase or subscription details, such as product identifiers and price, and notification interactions.

Our custom events describe app screens and features opened, time spent in the foreground, action outcomes, onboarding steps, permission or access states, and recorded study-duration totals. They do not include your note text, images, audio recordings, exam, subject or topic names, backup contents, full study history, account name or email. We do not set your signed-in account ID as an Analytics user ID. Importing study history does not send that history as past usage events.

We disable advertising-ID collection, advertising storage, advertising user-data consent and personalised-advertising signals in the app. Analytics identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. Usage reports help us understand engagement; they do not show every person online with exact timing or establish why an individual stopped using or uninstalled the app.

Crash reports and diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes and technical failures. Crash reports is enabled by default in Android version 1.0.2 and can be turned off separately in Settings under Help improve AspirantGoal. Crashlytics processes installation identifiers, app and device information, crash stack traces and related technical diagnostics.

Our custom diagnostic information uses bounded feature, action and error categories. We do not intentionally attach your notes, images, recordings, account name or email to it. Technical crash reports can contain runtime details and should not be described as completely anonymous. When both controls are enabled, limited app-action context can help explain a failure.

Optional app feedback

You can choose to send structured feedback from Share app feedback in Support and Help. The form asks which feature you used, how helpful it was and, optionally, what could be better. It has no written-response field. These choices are sent through Usage analytics, which must be enabled to submit them. Private support email and public Google Play reviews are separate options. Your feedback choices do not determine whether you may leave a public review.

Google Play ratings and reviews: You can choose to rate AspirantGoal or share feedback and feature suggestions through Google Play. The Android app may show Google Play’s review card or open our Play Store listing. Google processes the rating and review text you choose to submit. Reviews of the publicly released app are public on Google Play; feedback on a closed test track is shared privately with the developer under Google’s testing rules. You can manage or delete your review through your Google Play or Google Account controls. Use our private support email for account details or other personal information.

4. Backups and exports

You may create a backup file in a location you choose. If Google Drive backup is available and you enable it, AspirantGoal encrypts the backup before upload and stores it in your private Google Drive app-data area. AspirantGoal uses the limited Google Drive application-data permission rather than broad access to your Drive files. Google processes Drive and sign-in information under its own privacy terms. In the current Android release, backup metadata and recovery envelopes are also stored in your private Drive app-data area. This includes generic backup file names, file IDs, sizes, integrity hashes, format versions and timestamps. Your original study-file names are inside the encrypted backup index. The AspirantGoal account database does not store these Drive backup heads.

You control backup creation, restore and deletion. Keep your recovery information private. Support will never ask for your password, Google token, backup encryption key or recovery phrase.

5. Permissions and special access

AspirantGoal requests access only for features you choose to use:

• Microphone: records an audio note only after you start recording.
• Notifications, alarms and vibration: deliver reminders, timer alerts and active-session notices.
• Usage access: lets Strict Focus Mode identify the foreground app on your device so it can apply the focus rule you selected.
• Display over other apps and foreground service: shows the floating timer or Strict Mode blocker while a session is active.
• Notification access and Do Not Disturb access: apply notification and interruption rules that you configure for Focus or Strict Mode.
• Installed or launchable app information: displays apps for your allowlist and checks app identities locally while Strict Mode is active.
• Files and sharing: opens or creates AspirantGoal exports and backups only when you choose a file or sharing action.
• Start after restart: restores eligible reminders after the device restarts.

Android remains the final authority for every permission. You can review or revoke access in Android Settings. Some related features will stop working if access is removed.

6. How we use information

• provide and maintain the app features you request;
• authenticate accounts and manage registered devices;
• create, locate, verify and restore backups you request;
• verify purchases, apply eligible coupons, restore entitlements and manage subscription renewal;
• protect the service, prevent abuse and investigate technical failures;
• understand feature usage and foreground engagement, assess optional feedback and diagnose crashes and technical failures so we can improve the app;
• answer support messages and feature requests; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

7. Service providers and sharing

We may use service providers only to operate the functions described above, including Google services for authentication, Firebase account infrastructure and app-integrity protection, Firebase Cloud Messaging for installation registration and account-linked profile-change signals, Google Analytics for Firebase for app usage measurement, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and technical diagnostics, Google Drive for user-chosen backups, Google Play for distribution, purchases, subscription management and required alternative-billing transaction reporting, Razorpay for payments and recurring subscription mandates when that option is available and selected, and Hostinger for website hosting. These providers process information under their own terms and our configuration of their services.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or use your study data for behavioural advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a lawful business reorganisation with appropriate safeguards.

8. Website and support information

When you visit aspirantgoal.com, our hosting provider may process routine technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, time and security events. The site may use essential cookies needed for security, administration and reliable operation. When you contact support, we receive the email address, message and any information you choose to include. The app does not automatically attach your study database, notes, audio, history, backup files or account information to a support message.

9. Retention

• Local data: remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app storage or uninstall the app.
• Backups: remain where you chose to save them until you delete them.
• Account data: your account profile, photo, registered devices, coin wallet and account-linked access records are kept while your account is active. An authenticated deletion request disables account access and queues server cleanup. The cleanup worker runs every 15 minutes; it retries temporary failures at intervals of up to one hour. This is a processing schedule, not a promise that every request finishes within 15 minutes. Contact support if deletion remains pending after 24 hours.
• Minimal deletion record: the former internal account ID, deleted status and deletion timestamp are retained without a scheduled expiry to prevent stale devices, queued operations or replayed requests from reactivating a deleted account. This record contains no profile name, email, photo, study notes or coin balance. Anonymous campaign-capacity records may also remain to prevent reuse of a limited promotion.
• Cloud operational and security logs: our configured operational log storage retains logs for 180 days. Google-managed mandatory audit logs follow Google Cloud’s separate retention rules. Account deletion does not erase these security logs immediately. Logs are not used to restore a deleted profile or coin wallet.
• Analytics data: We retain Analytics data according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics. At the introduction of this feature, event-data retention is two months and user-data retention is fourteen months, with user retention reset when there is new activity. Standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer. Analytics uses a separate app-instance identifier and is not linked by the app to your AspirantGoal account ID, so deleting an AspirantGoal account does not automatically delete Analytics records or aggregated reports.
• Crash reports and diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems, as described in Google’s Firebase privacy information. Turning off Crash reports does not delete reports already received by the service. Deleting your AspirantGoal account does not automatically delete reports identified separately by a Crashlytics installation identifier.
• Payment and tax records: Payment references, invoices, credit notes, invoice recipient details and required transaction reports are retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and dispute handling. They are not automatically erased by account deletion or used to recreate a deleted profile. Contact support for applicable access or deletion requests.
• Support correspondence and website logs: are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain security and meet legal obligations.

10. Your choices and deletion rights

You may use AspirantGoal locally without signing in, revoke optional Android access, export or delete local records, delete backups, sign out, manage registered devices and request cloud-account deletion. Account deletion does not silently erase study data stored on your device or files stored in your Google Drive.

To request account deletion outside the app, visit aspirantgoal.com/delete-account. You may also contact help@aspirantgoal.com to ask about access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before acting.

In Android version 1.0.2, open Settings → Help improve AspirantGoal to turn Usage analytics and Crash reports on or off separately. Both are enabled by default. Your choices apply to this installation, are not restored from study backups, and do not affect your study tools. Signing out does not turn either service off. Turning a service off does not delete information already received by it.

The Crash reports opt-out applies to automatic reporting on the next app launch. The app also requests deletion of unsent reports. Crashlytics may store new crash information locally while reporting is off; re-enabling it can send stored reports.

Contact help@aspirantgoal.com with questions or requests about Analytics or crash-report information. The app does not link these reports to your signed-in account ID. We may therefore need additional information to identify relevant records and will explain the available options and applicable limits.

11. Children and younger users

AspirantGoal is intended for students and exam aspirants aged 13 and over, including teenagers and adults. It is not directed to children under 13. A store content rating describes content suitability and does not change this intended audience. If you are under the age at which you may independently consent to online data processing in your location, use optional account and cloud features only with authorisation from a parent or lawful guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion of a younger user’s account data.

12. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transport, restricted access, device-bound credentials and encrypted backups where the feature is available. No system is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, law or service providers change. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice in the app or on this site when a change materially affects your choices.
