What stays on your phone
Sessions, notes and history are stored on your device. Signing in does not replace that local data, and the core study tools work without an AspirantGoal cloud account.
The backup
A backup is optional. It goes to your own Google Drive and is encrypted. Google sign-in and the Drive backup are online features that you choose to connect.
Keep the recovery key somewhere that is not the phone you might lose. A backup protects you only if you can still get at the key.
Before you restore
Restoring can affect the data already on the phone. Check the backup's date, what it covers and the restore mode, then confirm.
What syncs when you sign in
Your account profile syncs across your registered devices. When you are signed in and online, limited coin-earning records (session ID, type, duration and timing) sync so AG Coins can be verified. Those records do not include your note content.
What support receives
When you email us, the app does not attach your study database, notes, audio or backups. Please do not send passwords, one-time codes or card details either. If you want your account removed, see Delete account.
